This position is located at Reynolds Army Health Clinic, Ft. Sill, OK.

Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, planning, coordinating, and administering diverse physical therapy programs
Making recommendations and utilizing various physical therapy modalities
Reviewing and instructing on home program exercises and precuations
Tracking progress of therapy
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
Must possess one 1 year of experience. Experience is defined as adapting various physical therapy treatment activities to meet the specific needs of individual patients; observing, assessing, and reporting on the progress and reactions of patients, utilizing insight and mature judgment acquired through extensive experience in administering treatment to patients, or other work that is in or typically related to the work of the position to be filled.
Basic Requirement for Physical Therapy Assistant:
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience: One year of experience which includes implementing physical therapy treatment plans and educating on physical therapy exercise programs or evaluating physical therapy patients. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Kinesiotherapy, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science or related field of study.
