This position is located at WOMACK Army Medical Center in  Fort Liberty, NC.

Womack is located in Fayetteville, Fort Bragg which  is 2 hours from the beach and 5 hours from the Appalachian Mountains with easy access to I-95 and all points north and south. As a Clinical/Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner you will:

• Provide advanced comprehensive psychiatric nursing care for a variety of behavioral health patients.
• Perform intake procedures for psychiatric patients.
• Collaborate with the patient's total treatment team in order to formulate a total treatment plan.
• Perform psychiatric patient observations in order to identify any significant behavior and reaction patterns.
• Prescribe medications to psychiatric patients seeking behavioral health services.

US Citizenship required

Candidate must have a current, active, valid, certificate, unrestricted license, or authorization to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.

Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed.
