This position is located at Winn Army Community Hospital, Fort Stewart, Hinesville, GA.

Winn Army Community Hospital is a 112-bed community hospital which will feature a new Women’s Health and Mammography Center.  Our healthcare team provides primary and specialty care for a patient population of over 70,000.  As a civilian family practice physician you will play an integral role in providing exceptional healthcare to the Soldiers and Families in our great Army and the 3rd Infantry Division.

As a Nurse( Clinical/Medical-Surg) you will:

• Provide comprehensive age appropriate nursing care to medical surgical patients.
• Perform a variety of administrative/floor duties as an extension and in support of the head nurse.
• Administer oxygen, IV fluid, blood transfusion and medications.
• Serve as a team leader and charge nurse and make decisions regarding priorities in patient care for shift assignments.
• Set up, operate, and monitor medical equipment such as oxygen masks, Ambulatory bags, intravenous pumps, wall suction, etc.
• Instruct patient and family members regarding disease process and provides emotional support as needed.

US Citizenship Required

Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant.

Active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.

At least one year experience working as a Registered  Nurse (Clinical/Medical-Surg)
