This position is located at US MEDDAC, Deputy Commander for Nursing, Preventive Medicine Service, Army Public Health Nursing, Fort Drum, NY.
The Guthrie Army Health Center, is located at Fort Drum, New York, near the city of Watertown. Watertown is located in the scenic 1,000 lakes region of upstate New York. Home to more than 110,000 residents, the city serves as the gateway to Lake Ontario. Boating, fishing, rafting, hiking, camping, picturesque scenery and quaint rural atmosphere abounds. As a Nurse (Administrative/Community-Occupational Health), you will:
US Citizenship required
Must have and maintain a RN license.
Must have at least one year of experience after you have been licensed.
Must have an annual influenza vaccination.
Must have a child background check.
This position has a mandatory drug requirement.
To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: assisting with health education activities; assessing individual’s health status; and providing occupational health consultation.
