This position is located in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center-Behavioral Health in Fort  Eisenhower, Georgia .

 

Position available for a full-time  Supervisory Clinical Psychologist at Fort  Eisenhower, adjacent to Augusta, Georgia, famous for its major attraction, The Masters Golf Tournament. Ft Eisenhower has a moderate year-round climate and offers close proximity to metropolitan areas, beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the Appalachian Mountains.   The Augusta area is a growing community with an excellent quality of life. A wide variety of cultural and outdoor recreational activities are readily available locally, and many more are easily accessible from the coast to the mountains. Augusta has a vibrant professional medical environment, including the Medical College of Georgia and other referral medical centers. The cost of living is quite reasonable, with quality homes at good prices.

Responsibilities

 

%MCEPASTEBIAs a Clinical Psychologist you will: 

As a Clinical Psychologist  Supervisor you will:  

  • Supervise assigned professional and paraprofessional employees.
  • Provide individual, couple, family, and/group psychological counseling utilizing a variety of treatment modalities.
  • Coordinate with a variety of agencies to assist with the multidisciplinary treatment of patients.
  • Establish performance standards for employee and prepare performance appraisals for subordinate employees.

 

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required
  • One year experience as a Clinical Psychologist Supervisor
  • Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
  • A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required. 
  • Candidates will have completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral graduate program and an APA accredited predoctoral internship.
