This position is located in Preventive Medicine-TBI Center within Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Liberty, NC.

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Psychologist ( Neuropsychology) you will:

 

  • Provide neuropsychological screening and assessment to patients seen in the medical center.
  • Screen and assess patients with a wide range of neuropsychological disorders to include Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Psychological Health issues.
  • Formulate behavioral health interventions appropriate to a primary care setting and implementation and monitoring of treatment plans.
  • Provide professional consultation to other health providers such as psychiatrists, neurologists, and/or neurosurgeons.
  • Administer and score psychological tests.
  • Assist in developing presentations for classes and programs relevant to neuropsychology and conditions such as TBI, PTSD, and chronic pain.

 

Qualifications

US Citizenship required

 

Preferred Fellowship in Neuropsychology

 

Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

 

A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.

 

Candidates will have completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral graduate program and an APA accredited predoctoral internship.
